Projects involving partners, placements, or activities in jurisdictions subject to UK Government arms embargoes or other restrictive measures (as listed in Current arms embargoes and other restrictions government guidance) will be treated as high‑risk and require additional due‑diligence, risk assessment, and export‑control checks. The Project Lead is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant Export Control regulations and the National Security and Investment (NSI) Act; applications failing to meet these enhanced requirements may not be supported.
