The National Alternative Proteins Innovation Centre (NAPIC) is an Innovation Knowledge Centre (IKC) funded by BBSRC, Innovate UK, national and international partners including academia, industry, regulators, and third sector.
The National Alternative Protein Innovation Centre is part-funded by The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and Innovate UK.
To create a future where alternative proteins become mainstream for a sustainable planet.
To be the innovation enabler for rapidly evolving alternative protein industries. We will deliver a universally healthy, acceptable, accessible, eco-friendly food system by harnessing the UK’s world-class science.
